BPS Got BB

“Who’s the evaluator? Ministry of PAN-RB, BPKP, BPK, KPK, and BPS. Then what BPS get? BB, oh not bad…objective, I speak as vice principal here,” said Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) joking in front of invitee and mass media on Submission of Ministry/Institution and Provincial Government’s Performance Evaluation Report. JK particularly cast his joke to Chief of BPS, Suryamin, which incidentally is in front of him while giving a speech.

In submission located on Vice President Office, BPS got achievement again by ranked 10^th and got mark 73,86 from 86 government instances. By that mark, BPS awarded BB (formerly known as A-/A minus) and Certificate of Merit was handed by Vice President. This is positive achievement for BPS that in the previous year was awarded B and marked 70,50.

Evaluation which was conducted by Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucracy Reform got result that average value of ministry/institution were increased compared to 2014 to 65,82 from 64,70. Not only ministry/institution increased, average value for provincial government was also increased from 59,21 in 2014 to 60,47 in 2015. Evaluation process was done by viewing all aspects related to implementation of performance management in government instance so that able to build result-oriented work ethic government.

JK said that performance not only seen by absorption of budget, but also suitability with the result. He was also instructed that all government instances could build work ethic as government’s culture which is prioritize result and can give real benefit for citizen and the country.

With various awards earned by BPS surely be a pride for BPS crew to do the best and also as a proof from public to BPS’ performance. Bravo BPS!
