Abstract

• The occupancy rate of star-rated hotels in South Kalimantan in February 2018 was 55.43 percent, or an increase of 11.77 points compared to the ROR of January 2018 of 43.66 percent. Compared with the ROR of February 2017 of 45.92 percent, the ROR of February 2018 increased by 9.51 points.

• The average stay duration (RTLM) of foreign and domestic guests (domestic) at the February 2018 star hotel is 1.53 nights, unchanged. When compared to the same period of the previous year that is February 2017 which amounted to 1.64 nights, RTLM in February 2018 was decreased for 0.11 night.

• The number of air transport passengers departing via airports in South Kalimantan during February 2018 was 149,004 people or down 13.74 percent from last month. The number of sea transport passengers departing through Trisakti Port Banjarmasin in February 2018 as many as 505 people fell 25.95 percent. While the number of goods contained in Port Trisakti in February 2018 amounted to 661,064 tons an increase of 6.40 percent.
