Abstract

In March 2018, in Kota Banjarmasin there was an inflation of 0.32 percent. The calendar inflation rate of 2018 (March 2018 to December 2017) was 0.47 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 3.12 percent. Commodities that experienced price increases with the highest inflation in Banjarmasin include air transport, rice with side dishes, biscuits, gasoline, onion.

In Kota Tanjung, in March 2018 experienced inflation of 0.83 percent. The calendar inflation rate of 2018 (March 2018 to December 2017) was inflation of 1.06 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 2.16 percent. Commodities that experienced price increases with the highest inflation share in Tanjung City include: rice with side dish, onion, long beans, spinach, broilers meat.

Among 82 cities that calculate the consumer price index, 57 cities recorded inflation. The highest inflation in the city of Jayapura was 2.10 percent, and the lowest in Sumenep was 0.01 percent and the highest deflation in Tual city was 2.30 percent at the lowest in Bulukumba at 0.01 percent.
