Consumption Tendency Survey (STK) was conducted to get the value of Tendency Index of Consumer (ITK). ITK is an indicator used to measure the level of consumer economic optimism through shopping and saving activities. The ITK can be presented to the provincial level.

Sample of STK in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency covers households spread in 10 subdistricts. Activity begins with the updating of selected census blocks to obtain eligible households for sampling.

The implementation of STK field enumeration takes place every quarterly.
